  • I have checked the Council’s Publication Scheme and can find no reference to the information I request.
  • I understand that I will not normally be given access to personal information about another person unless I have obtained the written consent of that person.
  • I understand that the Council may not hold the information I am requesting and that the Council may need to consider whether it is appropriate for my application to be transferred to another public body.
    • Where this is the case, I consent to my application being transferred.
  • I understand that the Council may need to consult third parties before agreeing to release information.
    • Where this is the case, I consent to this consultation taking place.
  • I understand that any information supplied may be subject to Copyright protection.

Maidstone Borough Council takes its obligations under the Data Protection Legislation very seriously and will not disclose information to any unauthorised person. Information may be shared with other services within the Council or disclosed to other Local and Public Authorities or Government agencies that have a legitimate reason to request the disclosure. The Council is under a duty to protect the public funds that it administers and to this end, it may use the information that you have provided for the prevention and detection of crime and / or fraud. It may also share this information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering public funds for these purposes. If you wish to know more about the uses to which the information may be put by the Council, please contact the Head of Service for this Department.
