Youngsters try out for rugby success
More than 300 primary school
children will compete in the tag rugby tournament at Maidstone
Rugby Club.
The annual tournament will see 30 teams
compete against each other for a coveted place in the Kent tag
rugby finals, held in June at Aylesford Rugby Club.
Each team will play up to ten matches in the
battle for victory, and the winning team will be presented with a
trophy and medals by the Mayor of Maidstone, Cllr Richard Ash. All
matches will be refereed by students from secondary schools in
Maidstone.
The tournament is organised by Maidstone
Borough Council in partnership with the Maidstone and Ashford
School Sports Partnership.
