Walk Maidstone
If you like to walk for pleasure, this one is
for you.
Eight circular walks in and around the town,
ranging from four to six miles, or two to four hours in
duration.
The routes will take you along leafy streets
and through the many green spaces within town, then out into the
surrounding countryside and back to your starting point. You
may see the parts of Maidstone you never knew. The leaflets
will give you information about the landmarks you pass.
Most of the walks can be divided into two
separate trips, with taking a bus half way through in order to get
back to your starting point. Check out the timetable of
Maidstone busses on Kent County Council's website at www.kent.gov.uk
Having enjoyed a walk as suggested in the
leaflet, try walking the other way next time – the views will be
different!

in the process.
