Penalty Charge Notices
Maidstone Borough Council has a responsibility for the
enforcement of parking. This enforcement is essential for the
free flow of traffic and helps road safety. Enforcement
involves:
- Yellow Lines
- Bus Stops
- Disabled Parking Bays
- Loading Bays
- Car Parks
- On Street P&D Bays
The majority of roads may have some kind of restriction and
these will be identified by road markings and usually a nearby
timeplate. The timeplates will indicate when the restriction
is enforced and it is the responsibility of the driver to check
that the vehicle is not in breach of any restriction.
