The Youth Sport Achievement Awards for 2007

This year's Youth Sport Achievement Awards was held on Friday 25 January 2008 at Maidstone Leisure Centre.

The Maidstone Borough Council, Sports and Play Development Team asked family, friends and sport coaches/teachers to nominate young people who achieved sporting improvement or success over the last year. In the last five years, the awards have recognised youngsters who have achieved national success or have the dedication and positive attitude that brings progress within sport.

The awards are sponsored by Serco (Maidstone Leisure Centre), Personnel Health & Safety Consultants, Weald of Kent Rotary Club, Hubble and Freeman and the Kent Messenger Group.

There were many displays throughout the evening including Flair School of Dance, Kixx Martial Arts Gym, Training DVD of Potential 2012 Olympians and London 2012 DVD.
