Community safety grants

The Kent People's Trust

The Kent People’s Trust is a registered charity, established with the support of Kent Police. It provides financial assistance in the form of grants, to groups that are working to improve community safety and reduce crime in Kent.

The Trust also provides an opportunity for businesses to become involved in ventures that are of direct benefit to communities in Kent.

Voluntary, charitable and community organisations are eligible to apply for grant funding from the Trust. Where groups are working with Police Officers, they may ask them to assist with their application. In doing so, it is hoped to foster even closer working relationships between the Police and the public.

Grants will typically range from £1,000-£2,500. Appications can be made at any time during the year.
